Madrid
3-Day Trip
Day 1
Start your day at the Puerta del Sol, one of the most busy squares in Madrid. From there, walk to Plaza Mayor, a historic square known for its beautiful architecture.
During the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace of Madrid and the adjacent Almudena Cathedral. After exploring these magnificent sites, stroll through the Sabatini Gardens.
At the end of the day, dine at one of the restaurants in the La Latina district, known for its tapas bars and enjoy a leisurely walk or a drink at a local bar.
Day 2
Start your morning at the Prado Museum, one of the world's premier art galleries. It's home to masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, and other European masters.
After lunch, visit the Reina Sofía Museum, where you can see Picasso's famous "Guernica", among
other modern artworks. Then, head to the Retiro Park for a relaxing stroll or a boat ride on the pond.
During the evening, explore the trendy Malasaña neighborhood, known for its nightlife and mix of bars, restaurants, and indie shops.
Day 3
Visit the Gran Vía, Madrid's famous street for shopping and entertainment. Then, head to the Mercado de San Miguel, an upscale market where you can sample a variety of Spanish and international cuisines.
If you are a football fan, don't miss a visit to Santiago Barnabéu Stadium, home of the famous team Real Madrid.
In the evening, experience a traditional Flamenco show at one of Madrid's renowned tablaos, like Casa Patas or Corral de la Morería.
